Terms of use
These are the rules for using Sajel while it is in private preview. They are short on purpose. Where a paid plan is mentioned, that part applies from the day paid plans launch.
The agreement
By installing the Sajel Mac app or using sajel.sa you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you use Sajel on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind that company. If you do not agree, do not use Sajel.
Private preview
Sajel is pre-release software offered to a small number of teams for evaluation. It may change, break or be withdrawn without notice. Features described as planned on the website are not promises. Do not rely on Sajel as the only record of a meeting that matters.
What you agree to do
- Record only meetings you are part of and have the right to record, and tell the other participants. Recording laws differ between countries and you are responsible for the ones that apply to you.
- Keep your access to Sajel to yourself. Do not share preview builds or sign-in details.
- Do not use Sajel to break the law, to record people covertly, to harass anyone, or to process data you are not allowed to process.
- Do not reverse engineer the app, probe the service, or use automated tools against it, except as the law allows.
Your recordings and notes
Everything you record, dictate, write or edit in Sajel remains yours. You give Sajel only the permission it needs to store, transcribe, summarise and show that content back to you, and to send it to the processing providers named in the privacy policy for that purpose. Sajel does not use your content to train models and chooses processing providers whose terms exclude training on data sent through their API.
Sajel’s app, website, name and design are Sajel’s. You may not copy them or present them as your own.
Transcripts and summaries can be wrong
Speech recognition and language models make mistakes, more so with dialects, names, numbers and mixed Arabic and English. Sajel links every summary line to the words it came from so you can check. Review before you act on a note, share it, or send it anywhere.
Plans and payment
The preview is free. When paid plans launch, the pricing page is the source of truth for what each plan includes and costs. Prices are in SAR and include 15 percent VAT. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. Refunds follow Saudi consumer protection rules.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Sajel at any time and delete your data from the app. Sajel can suspend or end preview access if these terms are broken or when the preview ends, and will tell you in advance where it reasonably can. Sections about your content, accuracy, liability and governing law survive the end of the agreement.
Warranty and liability
Sajel is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, during the preview. To the extent the law allows, Sajel is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or lost data arising from use of the preview, and its total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid Sajel in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Saudi law.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and any dispute is subject to the competent courts there. When these terms change, the date at the top changes and preview users are told by email before the change takes effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new terms.
